How it all works
Software The software is operating on an AWS CLOUD server in the USA and through your browser you login in and manage your time and attendance.
Hardware The time clocks ‘pushes’ the clocking data to your ‘instance’ in the CLOUD. The time clock does not lose data in a power outage but stores clockings and transmits then power is restored.
The time clock has 4 methods of punching, Face, Fingerprint, Proximity tag or PIN and password. You decide which employee uses which method. No usable images are stored in the time clock. The data stored is a 9 byte number and meaningless without the algorithm to decode it and then it is still meaningless to humans.The time clock is password protected.
In use
Every employee in the organisation is given a unique ID issued by HR/Payroll. This unique ID. Each employee presents their previously enrolled face, finger tag or PIN number to the time clock and once recognised this creates an in/out transaction. The terminal displays the result of the attempt along with an audible message.

Once you have a subscription, all punches are sent straight to your software in the CLOUD. You log into your account using your browser, add, edit and delete punches and run your time card reports. Login from any/every PC. Use office, home, laptop.

What do I have to install?
Just open a port on your router to allow the time clock to send data to the CLOUD. Full information will follow. You access the software through your browser. We’ll explain all later or do it for you.
USB stick option
This feature is not used on the CLOUD time clock otherwise the data will be diverted away from the CLOUD
Can I use some TCP/IP and some WIFI terminals and control them with one piece of software? Yes you can.
Can I increase the number of employee licence
Yes you can just email to ask. You can increase employee levels at any time. This is usually done by an email.
Does the terminal have a password to keep it locked from others accessing the settings? Yes, you can enter your own password for this. Always use text and not a finger, face tag or any other method. If that finger, face or tag leaves the business then you will have to call support to bypass the settings.
What grace options are there? The grace options are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, and 30 minutes.

What roundings are there? The roundings available are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, and 30 minutes.
What pay periods are there? The pay periods available are - Weekly, bi-weekly, bi-monthly, 4 weekly and monthly. You can have some employees on bi-weekly and others on weekly.You can calculate bi-weekly and 4 weekly to give weekly totals.
If someone forgets to clock how can I fix that? At the PC, authorized users can edit transactions.

If I enroll someone on a time clock will it populate my other time clocks at other locations.
Yes it can, but you if you have the same model of time clock at the other location(s)
Some employee turn up an hour early and clock in. How can we stop them from being paid for these hours? You can stop employees being paid for these hours in the shift/schedule set up. You can also stop time accumulating at start and end of a shift.
